In August 2023 and August 2024 we sponsored an outreach with the community of Los Angeles, California. We partnered with Mother Margaret Fields and Annie Ivy Ministry Inc. as well as the L.A County Department of Public Health. This is a yearly, free event open to serving homeless shelter residents. The event had a turnout of about 75 people and 20 volunteers. There were talks given covering the concepts of nutrition information, earthquake preparation, the meaning of labor day, and the meaning of salvation and how one can accept Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior. Bibles were distributed as well a clothing items such as hoodies, underwear, and shoes. Hygiene kits were provided including toothbrushes and toothpaste along with other essential items and a catered meal was provided. We would like to extend a thank you to the community and everyone who helped support, as well as everyone involved in the Annie Ivy Ministry for making this possible. It was an extraordinary day filled with spiritual messages, love, and laughter.
